Dr. Weingarten, M.D., is a board-certified otolaryngologist at Ear, Nose and Throat Consultants. Originally from the Chicago area, he later relocated to Metro Detroit. Board-certified in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery since 1987, Dr. Weingarten has held prominent leadership roles, including Section Chairman of Otolaryngology and Chairman of the Department of Otolaryngology and Ophthalmology at Providence Hospital. He also served as Medical Director of the Providence Hospital Voice and Communications Center.

Dr. Weingarten has been recognized on multiple occasions with the “Teacher of the Year” award from a residency program and has contributed to medical literature. He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, the Michigan State Medical Society, as well as the Oakland, Macomb, and Wayne Counties medical societies. His leadership in the field has earned him several awards, especially from the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He has also served as a member of the Medicare Advisory Committee and held the position of Executive Board member and President of the Michigan ENT Society.

Dr. Weingarten's practice covers all aspects of otolaryngology (ENT), with particular expertise in nose and sinus disorders, pediatric conditions, snoring and sleep apnea surgery, and voice disorders.
