Ear, Nose, Throat, Head & Neck Care in Southeast Michigan

Diseases and disorders affecting the ears, nose, throat, head, and neck can significantly impact hearing, breathing, speech, sleep, and overall quality of life. At Ear, Nose & Throat Consultants, our board-certified ENT physicians and head & neck specialists provide comprehensive diagnosis, advanced treatment, and surgical care for patients of all ages.

Our physician-developed health information and treatment plans are designed to help patients understand their condition and explore the most effective options available.

Ear Conditions

Ear disorders range from mild to complex and can affect hearing, balance, and development.

We evaluate and treat:

  • Earwax (cerumen) impaction

  • Acute and chronic ear infections

  • Hearing loss (conductive and sensorineural)

  • Congenital hearing disorders

  • Tinnitus (ringing in the ears)

  • Balance and dizziness disorders

Early diagnosis is essential to prevent long-term hearing or speech complications, especially in children.

Throat Disorders

Throat conditions can interfere with communication, swallowing, and breathing.

Common throat conditions include:

  • Tonsillitis and recurrent strep throat

  • Hoarseness and chronic voice disorders

  • Vocal cord nodules or polyps

  • Swallowing disorders (dysphagia)

  • Laryngitis

Many of these conditions can be effectively managed with medical therapy, voice treatment, or minimally invasive surgical procedures performed by an ENT physician or head and neck surgeon.

Nose & Mouth Conditions

The nose and mouth play a critical role in breathing, smell, speech, and overall airway function.

We treat:

  • Chronic sinusitis

  • Allergic rhinitis (hay fever)

  • Nasal congestion and obstruction

  • Deviated septum

  • Nasal polyps

  • Mouth sores and oral lesions

Advanced treatment options include in-office sinus procedures and minimally invasive sinus surgery to restore healthy airflow and sinus drainage.

Head & Neck Surgery

Significant advances in head and neck surgery have led to safer, less invasive techniques and improved recovery times.

Our surgical expertise includes:

  • Tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy

  • Facial plastic and reconstructive procedures

  • Cleft palate repair

  • Sleep apnea surgery

  • Hearing restoration procedures

We use modern surgical approaches designed to improve outcomes while minimizing downtime.

Head & Neck Cancer

Early detection is critical when treating cancers of the head and neck. These cancers — including laryngeal (voice box) cancer — can be aggressive if not diagnosed promptly.

Warning signs may include:

  • Persistent hoarseness

  • Sudden voice changes or loss of voice

  • Unexplained throat pain

  • Skin changes or non-healing lesions

  • Lumps in the neck

If you experience any of these symptoms, prompt evaluation by an ENT specialist is essential.

Pediatric ENT Care

Children often experience the same ENT conditions as adults, but symptoms may present differently. Treatment plans must be carefully tailored to their growth and developmental needs.

We provide specialized pediatric ENT care for:

  • Recurrent ear infections

  • Hearing concerns

  • Tonsil and adenoid enlargement

  • Pediatric sinus issues

  • Airway and sleep disorders

Our team ensures compassionate, child-focused care designed for long-term health and development.

Implantable Hearing Devices

For patients who are not ideal candidates for traditional hearing aids, implantable hearing technology may offer improved sound clarity and speech understanding.

We offer advanced bone-anchored and Osseo-integrated hearing devices for qualifying patients. These systems may be recommended for certain types of conductive or mixed hearing loss and single-sided deafness.

Our ENT physicians and audiology team will determine whether implantable hearing devices or traditional hearing aids are the most appropriate solution for your needs.
